The Year of the Yin Water Rabbit 癸卯

Intriguing as Feng Shui sounds, it’s essentially about timing and orientation. A big elemental shift is but a year away. Knowing when and where the right place to position oneself will greatly influence your Feng Shui luck.

Chinese astrology and Feng Shui interpretations go hand in glove. Rabbit’s position on the Chinese compass is East, specifically cardinal/middle East. Homes, regions and countries matching this orientation will be activated/triggered. Your creative prowess maybe whet, as Rabbit brings an eye for interiors. Noisy renovators, avoid rackets in the Rooster’s sector and East/West axis. Globally we may see seeding of new trends, design/literary movements and such like.

If your abode was built between 1924-1943, you’re a Ming Gua #4, or have a SE facing entrance, some of these themes may hit home.

The AFS, in the centre cell —a visiting #4 — sets the tone. There’s no escaping Wood presence, for #4, doubles up. But Trigram ☴Xun calls the shots. Take precautions when travelling by air, as wind, movement and travellers come under its watch. Winds penetrate and disseminate everywhere, scattering what’s in its wake. The unforeseen brews indecision, but rewards with decision, eventually. Woods copresence in an omnipresent Earth centre is hostile. Flexibility is key. Anger is triggered; but don’t give it airtime. Filter, for your Liver is happier for it. Mind your back or there will be tears. Eldest daughters (young females) the year has your name on it. The SE sector is the gate of cheerful benevolent Wind. Dragons and Snakes take note this is your territory. 2023 brings winds that deliver the Change that 2022 initiated.

FENG SHUI 101

The Lo Shu layer is innate in all dwellings. Plus distribution of Qi (energy) according to the Period your dwelling was built. In addition, a new Qi layer called Annual Flying Stars (AFS) change on Solar New Year.

In the absence of a *professional consultation**, you’ll need to know the compass bearings about your home. Twelve directions align with the* Animal signs – see your animal forecast for specific degrees.

Femme Fatales and Sugar Daddies shoot the breeze when #4 turns up. Tame your tastes, as things turn sour quickly. Fatal Attraction revealed a Bunny boiler. Those harbouring scholarly ambitions also come out of the woodwork.

Returning to the right place concept. The best 2023 Feng Shui sectors to align yourself with fall on the N/S axis. If you do nothing else park yourself in either, whenever an opportunity arises. Simply occupying good sectors is basic good Feng Shui.

Furthermore, exercise caution in the East. Rabbit, that goes for you too. The #2 star is a cosmic litmus test for wellness. It always needs remediation; no one meddles with potential health scenarios. Young Males take note; the East speaks for you – keep vices and the blues in check. Tummy troubles to boot. Mums and sons may clash.

No one is immune to the wrath of #5. So collective caution is warranted. This year the NW sector plays host. Fathers/male figureheads should baton the hatches, as Career and Health may weather storms – be uber cautious in July and Oct. It’s a case in point for being in the wrong place (sector), this year. To quell adverse outcomes, occupy infrequently. A tad impossible for some, and best not to fuel the situation with fire (aka red items) subdue instead with metal classed elements to mitigate. Same goes for East sector.

Rabbit will bring closure to an era. Bookending a 20-year Earth governed Period/Age 8. Next year, a major chapter begins – a new frontier. Will we notice the Matrix glitch?
